About
I’m a 37 year old Sydney girl, mother to a little boy and a baby girl, and wife to a magnificent husband. I used to have a ‘real’ job and a brain. Now I have trouble remembering the simplest things. I am good at making cupcakes and buying fabric. Sometimes I even sew, usually quilts.
If you are familiar with Elinor M. Brent Dyer’s Chalet School series of books, you will know that once a Chaletgirl, always a Chaletgirl.

Love the Patchfolio would like the pattern and measurements. I would like to make these for the ladies when we go on our church retreat in October.

Sheridan,
I was reading Tertia’s blog today and some comments when yours stuck out to me. You see, I named my daughter Sheridan and your name popped out like a neon sign. You have a very lovely blog and quite the talent for quilting.
I look forward to reading more!

Thank you so much for the idea of the library bags for birthday presents. As my son and all my mothers group kids are turning 5 this month they have been the perfect present. Would love to send you some photos but not sure how to? Also love reading your blog when i get the chance!!

I love the Chalet School books still, and am just sad that I don’t have a daughter to pass the books on to! I remember being devastated when my mother told me I wouldn’t be able to go to school in Switzerland and see Joey and her family!

I love reading your blog, but I’m not sure how to subscribe?? I’m also a 37 Sydney woman in a very similar situation to yours.

Hi Sheridan, I’ve popped in and out of your blog for quite a while now and always really enjoyed it. I am a Melbourne mum who also has very fond memories of the Chalet School books. I always loved the bits about their crafting sessions! It is nice to find out that I am not alone – I love blogland for that!
