So, it may not be a surprise to you by now, but it certainly was to me yesterday when a package arrived from Donna.

“Oooo, exciting, what is she sending me?”,

“But Mr Postman, you must have another for me, I am waiting for my doll quilt”,

“Ooooo, what IS she sending me?”,

“Oh, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!”.

“No, WAY!!!”

Okay, so you get the picture?

What are the odds that of all the doll quilt swapees, she got ME?

(About 1 in 52 if you want to get all mathematical).

I am completely thrilled because I loved that little quilt when I saw it and I am very very proud to call it my own now. All the work that has gone into the stitching, which is just beautiful, the gorgeous fabrics, which are some of my all-time favourites, and the colour. {Sigh}. Must be quilt karma to send out an orange one and get an orange one in return!

Although I should have known this one was coming. See the embroidered label details on the back? How much work is that? I mean, I should have known she would only do that for me!!!! Ha ha!

Donna – I really, really love this little quilt. Thank you so much. Is my all time favourite doll quilt. Is so good, it’s going straight to the Pool Room.
