orange love

For a girl woman old hag who loves orange, can you imagine receiving this in the mail yesterday? My heart fluttered and I had to sit down to squeal.

Just. look. at. this.

apologies for photographing in the bathroom – it’s the only place I can get decent light inside at the moment

This is my doll quilt from the swap with Donna. She chose these colours well before the orange post. How about that? I am so impressed with her whole colour/hue/value thing that she has pulled off so beautifully. We had a rule that this quilt had to be made from our stash. Isn’t that impressive. Just look at it!

I’m not sure I can find all the words to tell you, Donna, how much I love this quilt. I can’t take my eyes off it.

Maybe you can hear me squealing?
